If you tell people you like the art they make, you will eventually reach the creative people who screencap compliments and save them in a special folder to read through when times are hard. I have 5MB of one individual being rad about my writing. They have their own FOLDER. Be that person.

I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

I have so many Characters.

My way of using them is mostly in D&D, but in a lot of cases I have stories I want to tell with them regardless and D&D is just the medium of expression. Maybe one day I'll write something instead.
