I always thought this dubious - if supply is increased the price should fall so just allow as many as possible to be built; evidence that the affordable discount actually enabled so many more to obtain affordable mortgages - the real question - seems thin.

Er Brian, the USA does not have ID cards, either digital or physical. A reason there has never been an equivalent of the Windrush scandal in France or the Netherlands is that all citizens have national ID cards that preclude the need to keep a dossier of documents proving UK citizenship.

Brexit led to the first mass racial registration & reclassification of citizens in Europe since Petain's Vichy regime & ruined hundreds of thousands of lives to satisfy little England bigots. Now as the same Putin poodles drive it to the next stage, all Labour does is object to costs/feasibility.
