This Crowned Aeolis (Facelina auriculata) photo is special for more than just its striking blue colors — it's also among the first iNaturalist observations of the species in Canada.

Silti Euroopan komissio valmistelee mallia, jossa se voisi siirtää vastuuta rajojensa ulkopuolelle.

Hallitus päätti lisätä rahoitusta tappiollisten lentoreittien tekohengittämiseen. Kyseessä on ympäristölle haitallinen tuki. Nämä eurot kannattaisi käyttää esimerkiksi joukkoliikenteen rahoittamiseen. Ilmaston lisäksi se palvelisi suurempaa joukkoa suomalaisia. #ilmasto yle.fi/a/74-2016295...

This Endangered Species Day, we’re celebrating some of our most iconic and vulnerable travelers—green sea turtles! 🐢

These gentle grazers act like underwater gardeners, keeping seagrass beds healthy and thriving by ‘trimming’ the blades and stimulating new growth as they feed.
