Democracy is a process, not a static condition
I assume this is you announcing you’re running for Congress as a Republican.

The counter explanation is that someone saw the news that Epstein was dead and immediately thought “I’ll write and send a letter that will almost certainly never be seen in order to frame Trump”.

That’s a weird jump to make as well.

Maybe the DOJ should have investigated all of this.

Understanding how things work is in my interests.

Pelosi did help convince Biden to step aside. 2 key things: 1) convincing, it was still Biden’s call. 2) Pelosi isn’t part of the DNC.

Voters select the delegates, delegates select the nominee. Generally, votes are required.
December 11, 2025 at 7:57 PM
You are objectively incorrect.

The DNC doesn’t have the power to push. There was no vote to push him out. No official actions were taken. The bills just don’t give the DNC the power to do that.

Biden was convinced to drop out by people he respected and listened to.
December 11, 2025 at 6:02 PM
In the case of 2024 Joe Biden got the most votes in the primaries. But both parties have rules in place to handle a death or dropping out or whatever.

For both parties if a candidate drops out or dies before the convention then the delegates at the convention vote.

Harris got the most votes.
December 11, 2025 at 5:21 PM
It’s absolutely correct.

The DNC doesn’t actually have any significant power in the primaries. They’re run by the state parties and the voters decide the winners.

The person who gets the most votes will be the nominee. That’s how it works.

The DNC doesn’t select the nominee.

The person who gets the most votes in the primary will be the nominee.

You’re an angry elf.

The article I linked to has him doubling down on his message. Is he repeating the exact same words to the exact same audience? No. That would be dumb.

Is he continuing to push the core message? Yes. Is he at all backing down? No.

He’s been quite active and vocal. Hasn’t backed down from his statement at all.

Hegseth sent the order to the Secretary of the Navy 2 weeks ago. This article is from 2 days ago.

Nixon erased parts of the tapes. Trump is significantly less scrupulous than Nixon. As are the fierce loyalists around him now.

I don’t think it unreasonable to at least consider the possibility that the files have been purged.
November 18, 2025 at 11:59 PM
So… were you born for the 2008 election or just too young to pay attention?

Cause there’s no way you were an adult in 2008 paying attention to the election and still come away with that take.

The entire GDP of Uzbekistan is $117 billion. Their entire government budget is only about $16 billion.

Uzbekistan is going to give us 10% of their country’s wealth? They’re going to invest almost as much here as they spend in their entire government?

Bull.

Rumor is they told her she can’t run for Senate and she’s pissed about it.

Or maybe just hanging out among people with actual facts has helped her moderate a tad.

Superdelegates always end up backing the eventual popular vote winner.

This continued obsession over superdelegates is completely misplaced. If Bernie had won the most pledged delegates or gotten the most popular votes he would have been the nominee.

Contrast Thomas’ treatment of minority religions vs his treatment of Christianity.

With minority religions “hey, the law is the law you still have to follow it”. With Christianity “if the law makes you uncomfortable the law MUST be unconstitutional”.

So predictable, so pathetically transparent.
