This really bad murder mystery visual novel I'm playing is making me really appreciate the writing in even the worst Ace Attorney cases because in this game, you find exactly one piece of evidence before someone is like "OH YEAH, THE KNIFE THAT CAN STAB PEOPLE, I LOVE USING THAT". (Game ID in alt)

Isaac is actually based off of BOTH male zombie designs.
His face is more like the Live and Reloaded design, his clothes are more like the original design, just with more color introduced.
He looks less gory and has no hanging eyeball because he cleans himself. (or at least tries to)

Gotta throw in a vote for the robot pirates from Ratchet and Clank. At one point Captain Slag (the big boy on the left) gets decapitated and is rendered a talking head on a stick but manages to become a DJ for a radio station after this happens.

The main reason I came up with this idea is because replaying Octodad made me want to rewatch Help! I'm A Fish and my brain was like "these two fish-themed pieces of media go two different directions with marine life adapting to humanity, huh"

Professor MacKrill from Help! I'm A Fish meets Octodad in the supermarket. MacKrill, being a marine biologist, looks shocked that an octopus is wearing a three-piece suit and buying groceries while Octodad looks nervous. Cut to a flashback of over ten years ago where Professor MacKrill is rescuing an injured octopus with two of his limbs chewed off and keeping him in his lab. A photograph says "Octavius is recovering nicely!" Cut to one fateful night where Octavius escaped from his tank to eat some tasty fish left on a table only to drink the Fish Antidote that was the main catalyst of Help! I'm A Fish because it was also smelling like tasty fish. (And also because it was kept in a coffee pot and Dadliest Catch implies that he learns to stand up straight from drinking coffee) He has now become Octodad from Octodad. First he says "I can breathe?" and then "I CAN TALK?!", which are both translated from blubs. He then proceeded to climb out the window and escape to open sea (the lab was in a boat). Professor MacKrill from Help! I'm A Fish meets Octodad in the supermarket. MacKrill says "Do I know you?" while a description says "knows he's an intelligent octopus pretending to be human but doesn't want to be rude". Octodad makes a very distressed blub that's like "Ha ha, no you don't" while he begins to sweat nervously (somehow, the potion gave him sweat glands)

To make matters even better, the main villain of Garfield: Caught in the Act is a 3D model's frames interacted with more hand-drawn sprites AND has a design that's a pun on the word "antenna" (because he's a giant ant)

Little five-year-old me was so afraid of losing a life in Garfield: Caught in the Act because every time you did, a little cutscene would play of Garfield getting eaten by this horrible toothy TV while it laughs maniacally.
