I yelled "F you" at a disrespectful teacher in class at age 12 after she personally insulted me and my family's abilities and I was belittled for weeks by my mom. Didn't change my emotions or opinion.

True for men. Distinction is more blurry for women cause it takes so long to give birth. Surrogacy carriers women sadly are not parents but they're carriage and labor still takes effort. I agree that in the long timeline of an adult life, being a breeder of 1 child is a relatively short timeframe.
