In summary, 10 tracks, which is really 6 songs, and is only 29 minutes, is an EP. NOT an album. And "It's a Beautiful Place" will be ranked as one of my top 5 EPs of 2025. Rant over. ;)

Yes I am a child of the 90's and I want 10+ song 40+ minute albums. I hate the modern trend of 30-35 minute albums, but I can get on board with it when there are 11-12 songs. I'll even be OK with the occasional 8 or 9 song album. But Water From Your Eyes "It’s a Beautiful Place" is only 29 minutes!

Here's the deal, "It's a Beautiful Place" is 6 songs. SIX. Track one is a 26 second intro, and then there are three other instrumental interludes that 50 sec, 59 sec, and 1:25 in length. Maybe they could be considered short ambient songs, but this is not an ambient band. 6 full crafted great songs!

Sixpence is an all-time fav, and “This Beautiful Mess” is as good as it gets for me. sadly though the band does themselves no favors presenting as a cover band much of the time. All their albums are fantastic, but many don’t get acknowledged in their shows

this was so hard for so long. I remember for my 36th birthday my present from my wife was to be able to go to a Pinback show by myself--this was a few months after our 3rd child was born. But now that they are all almost teens I take them with me! But yeah for about 10 years not many shows.

1. Send me $7 to cover materials
2. Trade! Make me a mix (tapes also great!) at some point in the coming months
3. Commit to buying something directly from one of the 17 artists on the mix (record, CD, shirt, etc.)
Keeping the artists a secret! :)
