when people say friendslop they mean the game de-emphasises itself to facilitate better functioning as social space. which ironically usually means having way less slop (progression systems and live service bullshit)

Tetris at 30 is criminal if they are putting Space Invaders at 1.

I still enjoy Pauper ($50-$80 a deck is much more manageable and flexible while being an eternal format) and Pre-Modern, but basically no one plays those locally.

I might work on a Cube, but people probably won't play.

Commander barely feels like Magic, and no one really plays Duel Commander.

I had been nickel and dime'ing a Standard deck together a few months ago.

Then Beans got banned.

After that, I was out again. The handshake of a longer lasting Standard was broken, and I don't have the disposable income to constantly buy in when bans are occurring every few months.

I pre-ordered it the day before launch. The release kind of snuck up on me. I did not have to input a code or anything, though the DLC does show up in the game properties.

As a side note, I have heard having DQ3 installed gives bonus stuff as well. I don't own it so I couldn't check.

Doesn't help much, but I can confirm I got mine from a Steam version. It was immediately enabled, day 1. I did not input a code.

As a side, REmake 2 was definitely not the remake I wanted; I wanted something closer to the REmake treatment. It was still very well done in most aspects outside of Difficulty Adjustment (personal pet peeve in survival horror) and about 20 mins of random segements.

I personally would like to see more remakes of games that failed to reach their goals or struggled with the gaming climate, technology, budget, or oversaturation of a time period.

If we are focusing on RE, that would be something like Code Veronica, Outbreak, or (to a lesser extent) Zero.

While I think the design for the Handler's Screen is solid, I would never feel comfortable using it in a public space with potentially minors around at the LGS.

Do you guys have any plans down the pipeline to have something more subdued for public play?

Social media broke everyone's brains like why y'all internalized THE LINE MUST GO UP??? Why do you care if normal people are talking about really mundane baseball takes here?? Why do you care if an entire regions/subcultures you don't interact with are or are not on a website you use???
