I found some mushrooms today while walking the dog. (I didn’t eat them, don’t worry.)

Nothing quite like some bluegrass to soothe the soul. Watchhouse and Charlie Part out on an incredible show in Berkeley tonight!

New York I love you. You’re not bringing me down.

At least you can pay more for sports while the country dissolves into authoritarianism.

I’m seriously considering spending $1600 to build a new PC just to play Battlefield 6. It looks like a true return to form.

Here’s a random picture from Dice in May 2004 when we worked with them on the persistent stats system at GameSpy. I love this franchise so much.

Wasn’t impressed with Denver, the city, but hot damn these mountains.

Will have to give prime rib a try. Chuck roast (way cheaper than brisket) has been the biggest surprise hit so far.

this is one of the most effective illustrations of a wage gap I’ve ever seen. You must read the article for full effect. A screenshot doesn’t do it justice. Bravo @stephentotilo.bsky.social www.gamefile.news/p/ea-ceo-and...

Man, California is such a hellscape. I fear for my life every time I step out onto the sidewalk.

My dog, hoping I might share a snack.

I’m listening to a compilation album from 1998. I can find exactly one page on the internet that mentions it. That College DJ by The Darwins is one of my favorites.

Gemini suddenly appearing in my Gmail client for work but can’t actually do anything useful.

This was a 3 sentence email that said, “let’s meet at this address at 930 tomorrow”. My prompt was “create a calendar event for this message”

Just bought a one-way ticket for my daughter back to New York. 13k miles and $53 and United decides to show me this AMAZING upgrade offer to first class... for only $4244.

Tried Gemini since Google is jamming it in my face. In the time it took to come up with this "answer" from some Google Analytics data I was able to create a pivot table and have the actual results. #Gemini

I clearly need more coffee, because I kept trying to close the modal in the mockup in Figma.

Hank Tough sounds like the name of a GI Joe I had in middle school.
April 6, 2025 at 3:48 AM
Actually, it was “Hank Tough” which is even more dumb.

Broke out the macro lens for the first time in ages since my wife's orchids are in bloom. Damn, my sensor is nasty.
