Uhhh first post time I guess, (so not used to this haha) I love talking about Video Games and films I see with people in general in a acute fashion. Love to bond over shared mediums. My favorite games are Okami, Dead Space, Red Dead Redemption 1, Devil May Cry 3 and Nier Replicant.
Got to see it, definitely nowhere near as good as the 1st one. It has moments of creepy tension, suspense and sinister action but soo crammed in and the story is barely structured. Goes all over the place with disjointed themes and premises to lead to the animatronic action. :/

I tried replaying AC Unity recently and while I miss crisp looking building titles and the decisive parkour it still felt quite amiss. The game would load too long or miss text or sequence animations until too late. I wanted to be enthralled in a replay but it seems I can't. :/. loved it years back.

Recently replayed RE 7 Biohazard, genuinely one of the best first person horrors. Looking back i get the complaint that its not RE much but honestly im glad such a wholesome horror experience was crafted from it. The scares and spooks are unmatched compared to other RE games.

AC Mirage's Story DLC was awesome, great return to the world and the new location had such the balance between Side content that isnt over saturated and a brief narrative. Great exploration too and missions that capture the Assassins spirit. Deepened my appreciation of AC Mirage

Took me around 2 days. Really fun remake, captures the motifs of alien invasion without missing a trope . The gameplay is also even more fun than the original naturally. especially flying and the destruction. Only downside Is the modernity made it less scary but that's fine. Very well intentioned

The Frankenstein creature had a realism to it that conveyed intelligence to understand the harsh realities of life unprecedented in previous adaptions. Comparable to the novel's expression of the creatures emotions. The Journey from Victor's meglomania to his end was tragic too. Fairly bleak vibe

I spent Halloween replaying The Wolf Among Us, was very enjoyable revisiting it's world. It's instanteous that I get invested in its story. Everything about it leaves that haunting, grim premise. Not even the insidious events, just the world mired by fables feigning normality.

Finished, I'm mixed on it. I just wish they took the gambit and didn't make Ryu hayabusa playable because Yakimo was really the star of the experience. Ryu's combat set was limited as a result. He should've been DLC follow up later on. Eitherway great bosses and enemy encounters. Not a huge NG fan

This was some of the most fun I had with a Serial Killer movie, it creates such a immersive atmosphere due to how personable the Killer seems it's terrifying. Even though it had many plot inconsistencies, it really felt like a Korean thriller with its pacing and bizzare twists.

Started Ninja Gaiden 4 and It feels alot more like traditonal Ninja Gaiden than the previews led me to believe. The same fluid yet constricted moveset, on ground takedowns with that slight platinum flare in platforming and jump/doges to it. The innovations are subtle

Lots of fun to be had for people wanting that campy chainsaw man craziness. Denji was somewhat dumber than usual I felt but it had it's charm. Felt like a extended episode as a intermediate as we wait for season 2. The art was very meticulous. Wish my theater had it in jap dub :/

One of the few alien films that manages to maintain the classic cat n mouse chase In constricted corridors typical of the Xenormorph notion in synthesis with the parasitic obtrusive archetype of aliens. The film was quite bleak overall and looking back it built up to that subtly

What a journey. The missions and action carry that same triumphantly ecstatic sensation Tsushima did. Great story that's just as captivating and hooked me in without wishing it was a direct sequel. My only complaint is the fire arms are introduced to late in the game.

Man ghost of yotei is very fun, the side missions feel way less enforced and effortlessly part of the journey. The world is even more alive than Tsushima's and the story has its charm but not as gripping so far. I'm enjoying it way more than I expected. The loss of combat forms For weapon types-

Spent the last 2 days playing through super mario galaxy 2 and honestly I vastly prefer it over the 1st. I prefer the arcady, linear platformer style in the 3d format. Maybe not as much as mario odyssey but I did prefer it to mario 3d world too. Ghost of yotei soon hopefully

This film was great, it really personified the phenonom of Autism and Awkwardness. The extent to which inner monologue is vented out and it's affects show in someone who's not the most socially self aware. The extent to which it's relatable made it kind of a horror as much comedy

Completed. It creates morbidly scary scenery and enemies that frighten possibly more so than the SH2 Remake did. The music is also sublime. Genuinely terrifying and paced just perfectly with the sequences. It's story tries to go for the oblique twists of SH2 but in a way that's-

First impression is it starts off similarly to other SH's. Story tells little and characters exhibit reticence. The atmosphere does the talking. That Akira yamaoka track that supplements the environment feels soo J horror and SH tuned simultaneously. Especially the dim alleyways and monster gait

Breathtaking. It takes from every Character Action game. The fluidity and reach of weapons. Frequency of bosses and combat section. Light platforming and Aerial sections. The combat system branches out soo methodically yet remains accessible and endlessly stylish. It maintains Sufficient challenge-

Lost Soul Aside's transformation into a accolade worthy hack n slash is no exaggeration. Starts off as very simple with linear elementary mechanics to full blown brisk speed slash dashes and jump cancels. Also arcady boss fights glittered all over. Takes the best of the genre.

Damn , the dub is cringe but it has those famous voices from anime, video games and the trench coat + gun pose embodied by DMC 3. Story derails and inflates into absolute nonsense but remains such a thrill ride nevertheless. Felt like a PS2 licensed game as a movie.

Just saw this anime. Absolutely heart breaking. It's a bleak world with a constant ringing of impermanence and emphasis on human connection where it's soo uprooted by one dimensional cruel villian archetypes and autocratic rule. Soo much death yet genuine innocence in it. Lovely

I'm glad I came back to this after gears 😂 yes I did initially rage quit it at how frustrating the level designs can be in some missions but the imaginative combat with that sense of trad action game hack n slash pinch, acrobatic fluidity just had to have me finish it. Great side scroller.
September 5, 2025 at 11:40 PM
There's soo much good I could say about this experience. I've never played any gears game before and the PS5 port is my only entry point. It has such a a classic and arcady cover shooter based structure to the TPS system I see why it personfies the genre. Ceaseless fun.

Just beat Sword of the Sea. I'm truly at a loss of words. Saying Giant Squid Studios outdid themselves would be a great understatement. The game perfectly weaves their exploration mosaic skills with such a existential sense of puzzling adventure it's truly one of a kind.
