I'm kinda surprised it was took in that direction, most action RPG's don't go beyond the OG nier cursory level combat. Like you can actually do combos with different weapons and it has on the fly switching ?

Is it that DMC like combat wise or more like Lost Soul Aside ?

It's sad, cuz I wish I could but then I feel like I can't even handle my own pain which is unbearable to me let alone others. I know this makes me very self absorbed honestly and I can't absolve myself of how it isn't. It's not anyone else's fault either.

I was thinking similarly about this today but it brought me to dour personal conclusions. How deeply I feel only plunges me into self absorption and looking inward which for better or worse makes me lose sight of things. I'm delighted you have come to way better realizations and aspirations :) ❤️ ❤️

It does seem that way, the story is very engaging and fun even early on

I preffered it to the original because the original was too bleak

dosent register as a deficiency, the cinematic close up tense combat is still as intense and challenging as ever and it's experience is unyielding fun
