There are many ways to get involved with the GSRN at CES 2026. If you have an individual paper, you can submit it yourself or send it to us by September 24, 2025 (tunay.altay@hu-berlin.de / kristabailie@gmail.com). Fully formed panels can be submitted directly via the CES portal by October 8, 2025.

Far-right populists have re-politicized "border control" as the magical solution to all the ills of our times. We see a similar trend in Germany as well. The coming years will undoubtedly introduce new configurations of border regimes, each with its own challenges.
