People are being kidnapped off the street for their political views, sent to holding centers due process and in defiance of judicial orders, sent to camps overseas, and still progressives and liberals are painted as the real tyrants. These editors aren’t prepared for when it happens to them.

“Defeat has a long history of inspiring honest reflection in politics. In this time of frustration and anxiety for Democrats, they should give it a try,” the editorial board writes.

Heading to #BrownUniversity tomorrow for our book launch on Jan 30. I've been following the deportation news since I arrived in DC three days ago. Borders are not only about the physical exclusion of certain members of society but also methods to normalize mistreatment and violence.

Had so much fun participating in the queer life writing workshop led by Nikolaj Tange. Exploring queer autobiographies as a genre has been truly inspiring. I'm even thinking about starting a reading group in Berlin centered on this theme. If anyone has book recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
