Looking forward to starting this new project on Jane Addams, WEB Du Bois, and the social epistemology of folk narratives.
🎉 @tullioviola.bsky.social has been awarded an NWO Open Competition XS grant (€50,000) for his project Folk Narratives and Social Critique. He will explore how Addams & Du Bois used myths, songs, and legends as tools for knowledge making and social critique.

We don't just need universities to train doctors and engineers... We also need humanists, to help us to understand the world we live in. I am striking because we need to educate the next generation of teachers, journalists, and opinion makers.
