Surprisingly good bowl of phở at Tân Sơn Nhất int’l airport - Big Bowl (next to Burger King). Not to mention the view is better than lounges’ :).
Only ick is they quoted me in VND but charged me in USD. I could have used a different card with less fees.

Things that surprise me while in Singapore:
the government does not collect pension contributions if you’re a foreign worker on a work pass.
they don’t collect personal income tax (of this year) until next year’s april.
I now have an interesting problem: Idk what to do with all this tax money.

OH: Da Nang city’s parking app does not allow you to extend the current active session but let you creat new ones in advance at the starting fee 🤣 (the fee is progressive with subsequent hours being more expensive).
So I have like 10 parking sessions today at the same spot, with 50% less payable 😇.

Whatever you do don’t put your system-critical pods onto the default nodepool.
There I saved you at least a few FTE weeks dealing with “unnecessary” problems with weird manifestations all over the place.
