While having fun with B7 we’re treated to a selection of camera bump/wobble nitpicks that I want to look out for on a rewatch 🧐

A paperback edition of Davidson/Orton/Ware/West and Hammond’s “Maximum Power!” sat on a table next to a pack-in bumph from Ten Acre Books. The back of “Maximum Power!”. Maximum Power! is a new(ish) Blake's 7 programme guide, telling the full untold story (aside from all the other books) most of which we made up, about this fantastic, ridiculous, fun and silly BBC TV hit series. A is for Avon, Zis for Xenon Base. What you can't learn from this book you could fit in a matchbox. Spray it silver. Stick a ping pong ball on it. Some staples. The nozzle from a glue bottle. Tie a bit of string to the top, dangle it from a light fitting and call it a Zeta-Class Pursuit Ship. With a foreword from second Federation trooper on the left (uncredited) Harry 'Aitch' Fielder, this book is set to break new sales records for Blake's 7 merchandise - we might just shift more than twenty of them. 100% of authors' proceeds from this book will be donated to benefit Sight For Surrey. 📖 Now that I’ve returned to “Blake's 7” I’ve resumed reading ”Liberation” alongside each episode.

Series B introduction section seems a tad too spoilery for me, so I’ve skipped that for now. My recollection of the show is so faint that I’d prefer not to know what’s to come!

🌶️ Well now, I got myself a reasonably compact dehydrator to follow on from the example in the GardeningTube episode linked ☝️ that has inspired me to try such out for myself.

I guess I should go harvest some more pods? 🤗

🍰 Baked a cocoa/coffee-based Chocolate Loaf Cake and prepared some Vanilla Mascarpone Cream yesterday, which were both left to set overnight.

Just piped the whipped cream on top.

Came out sort of okay. Will be stuffing my face this weekend. I don’t anticipate it lasting very long 😋

The rippled top of a freshly baked Chocolate Cake in a loaf tin, sat on a wire rack to cool. The Vanilla Mascarpone Cream that’s been left to set overnight in the fridge, in a Pyrex bowl. It’s all bubbled up on top like the surface of the moon. The loaf cake has been turned upside down on a dark chopping board, and half to two-thirds of the top has been dusted with cocoa powder. The Vanilla Mascarpone Cream has been whipped and piped in a wavy ribbon on the undusted segment of the loaf cake.

🌶️ I was just closing up my Chilli House for the night when I noticed one of my plants has a lot of fresh new top growth.

Healthy, light green leaves and new flower buds forming.

In November! 😯

Can really see it here amongst all the older dark green.

These days I have to keep my 👀 out in case my postie delivers my packages to the wrong address.

I wasn’t expecting this today, because of their broken tracking.

👀 The only slight trouble I had personally was from my colourblind eyes rendering some of the photograph captions hard to read.

Take this caption immediately below “The Aftermath” on the left hand page, which was illegible to me. I had to take a 📸 before I could read it! 🫣

Lots of ripe yellow Chilli pods, variety “Fatali”. A whole bunch of gnarly ripe red Chilli pods, variety is “CC Jigsaw Brain”. Some ripe Chilli pods that have a nice chocolate colour to them, which is handy since it’s in the variety name “Hot Chocolate”. There are a few “Turkish Flower” pods growing up in the lower-right corner of the picture too.
