This is stupid. Having an exam this long in the first place is stupid. What are they trying to prove? What possible useful thing is it testing that couldn't be tested in two shorter exams (or without an exam at all)?

repeating the same feedback to students I fail because they try to use ChatGPT to write their essays? Yes, but I rarely have to do it to the same student twice. Once they see that AI can't cut it they learn an important lesson and education is, after all, all about learning lessons.

how students approach a specific situation or explore ideas through a patient case study. This requires critical engagement, understanding complex human needs, and nuance. Any student who thinks they can get AI to write this for this will fail.

This is not to bash the service, which can be great for some situations and people, but to recognise that a lack of other options means inappropriate referrals are common.
