Yeah. I've always tried to (and if/when I fail I ask people to hold me to that) treat it as such that I understand that the things that repel and attract me do so for a reason. It's.....probably on purpose, a game that makes absolutely everyone happy doesn't exist and would have no real audience

I know this because I grinded out a deathless x68k clear for my stream and like.....what a masterpiece, really annoying its hard to find a clean dump of the damn thing for original hardware

It is true! There's a reddit post that has a clean dump that has the proper health scaling, it is either the same or very slightly more aggressive in the original X68k, but PSX Original is basically close enough in that front. It really is that hard, and there really are bad dumps out there.
