You lost a relationship that has helped to define yourself.
And that’s something I think a lot of people have lost sight of. We are all interconnected because of the relationships and reliance we have on one another.

I wash dishes while I'm waiting for my tea to steep and my chasen (the matcha whisk) to dry so I can put it away. This takes about 40 minutes and the motion of making matcha, followed by getting dishes cleaned up, has helped me mentally when the rest of the house overwhelms me.

People forget that to be "fat" doesn't mean you're weak or lazy. Some of the physically strongest people in the world just have larger builds. And the physique that is depicted in a movie like "Deadpool and Wolverine" is only possible because they seriously dehydrated him. Bring on fluffy Wolvie! 💛

It reminds me of this comic, and makes me laugh and be horribly depressed at the same time.

So for the next few weeks I will work on getting the self care stuff done while trying to work them into a schedule so I can get it all done. I NEED to make sure I’m taking care of my self.

I was suddenly worried that something happened to the VCR, but it turns out it was just the clocks at the beginning of the movie! 😅 I think this was the first time I’ve watched a tape that just started the movie right away!
