Sorry for late reply but they arguably couldn’t do any worse than Konate has the last few weeks. He’s been better with Gomez around him today though.

Despite what a lot of people say, still in with a chance of the title here. Lot of very winnable games after the break and chance to bed in a few of the newer players more.
Very disappointing last 6-8 weeks but we’ll come good, regardless of how frustrating we are to watch right now. #LFC

This is his worst mistake.
The players can see more than anyone when someone doesn't care and to keep just throwing him out there is sending a horrible message. As is "Salah is untouchable" no matter how poor he plays.

Doesn't help that we fucked up our CB recruitment in the summer and then Leoni did his ACL.
Without those 2 things I'd expect Konate to be well on his way to being phased out.

Two words, Ibrahima Konate.
Not sure I’ve seen a player less interested in playing for the club than the final days of Fernando Torres back in 2010.

If the gap is less than 10 points at Christmas between us and whoever’s top (cause on current form, it clearly won’t be us) then may have a chance of defending our title.
Anything more and I fear it’s game over.
