"'Is it really worth it to me to access TikTok, to do all of this or learn how to do all of these required technical things?'" she says."

Yes, it's worth learning how to circumvent government imposed bans. It's a valuable skill that isn't particularly difficult.

If you’re still shopping for holiday gifts, may I suggest The Viral Underclass? It came out in paperback w an update this yr (& 中文!) Despite the heavy subject matter, it’s filled with the kinds of stories Dickens evoked at this time of year. Available wherever books are sold.

WRITING TIP FOR TODAY

Sale racks at bookstores. I'm dead serious.

Buy reference books when they are practically giving them away and build a little library. I cannot explain the difference between a book and the ENTIRE WEB.

A good reference book will give you a dozen ideas in the first chapter.

Ugh. Low content already?
BlueSky is filling a void that 35+ up been looking for. Social media should be a cool distraction. Not stressful and annoying. Folks wanna laugh and have healthy banter and wit and sarcasm. A feeling of community. Not all these bots and ads and weird ass algorithms and engagement farming
