Yes. My dad was truly disappointed in my choices. He doesn't express any emotions, but he wrote me a letter to express how hurt he was I chose someone who disrespected me. My marriage made him upset with all Africans.
For the women who had/have good relationships with their fathers, did the dynamic between you and your dad change when you got into a serious relationship with a man?
