"Omg fruit is full of sugar and so bad for you!" Have you considered that it's also full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber? And a fun fact is that our bodies need these nutrients so no, it's not the same as eating something like ice cream. Not that anything is wrong with ice cream.

I love a Diet Coke, even though it's not water, Diet Coke is healthier than a full sugar soda.

food can be a way to connect with other people, cultures, and our memories.

One barrier that affects me the most is the lack of time to plan, shop, prepare and cookie healthy foods. I lack the motivation and time to cook a healthy meal everyday for dinner. So I tend to rely on frozen dinners or canned soups. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

These past winter months had really limited sun exposure especially for those in New England. This can lead do vitamin d deficiencies and progress to decreased calcium absorption. This article by Tufts explains who is especially affected.

I've been making my iced coffees at home as a way to save money and to make my coffees more nutrient dense. I do this by using fairlife protein shakes instead of milk or creamer to increase my protein intake!

I tracked my food intake for the past 24 hours and I thought it was fairly easy to track with the app MyFitnessPal. With the app I was easily able to log everything I ate with the food searcher that includes that includes the macros of everything. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
