Why are Bezos, Zuckerberg, Musk, Pichai and Tim Cook visiting and giving money to Trump ?

Because they are in “The Race “ to become the dominant platform in the world.

Amazon/Anthropic vs FB/LLama vs Google/Gemini vs Twitter/Grok, vs IPhones/ChatGpt is the penultimate global power war ever.

How about we do a trade, give Trump and MAGA Greenland and the rest of us become part of Denmark.

Ya gotta wonder about someone following thousands, but only followed by a few. Usually scantily clad men or women who DM you immediately if you follow back. If this describes you, don’t bother. I will block you.

The South Korean’s failure to impeach following an attempted coup is all too familiar. Hope they don’t regret it as much as we do.

The oligarchs are getting bolder by the day.
Scoop: After the LA Times published a piece about Elon Musk that carried a headline owner Patrick Soon-Shiong didn't like, a new rule was implemented: Prior to publishing opinion stories, headlines must be emailed to Soon-Shiong, where he can then choose to weigh in. www.status.news/p/los-angele...
The Times They Are A-Changin’
Staffers at the Los Angeles Times described to Status a demoralized publication depleted of its spirit in which employees are "confused," "offended," and "frustrated."

What’s with all the “alpha males” looking to men like Tucker and Rogan for what to believe and for other male approval? Now they all look act and believe the same.

Sounds kind of Beta to me actually

1. Media outlets have show little interest in an $18 million payment from Justin Sun, a Chinese national being prosecuted by the SEC for fraud, to President-elect Trump

It wasn't always this way

Consider how the NYT covered the alleged influence of foreign cash on then-candidate Hillary Clinton
Trump v. Clinton: The media double standard on the influence of foreign cash
On Monday, Popular Information reported that Justin Sun, a Chinese national currently being prosecuted for fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission, sent President-elect Donald Trump $18 millio...

I am watching with grave concern over the actions of the South Korean president to declare martial law, all because the opposition has blocked his agenda and impeached his cabinet.

Democracy is under assault across much of the world. We must be on highest guard here as well as Trump takes office.

The implications of this for the incoming oligarchy are outrageous.
Call me crazy, but I think Justin Sun, a Chinese national being prosecuted for fraud by the SEC, sending Trump $18 million should be a bigger story

The direct enrichment of Trump by a foreign national weeks before he takes office has merited no coverage in the NYT or Washington Post
A Chinese national, charged with fraud by the SEC, just sent Donald Trump $18 million
Chinese Crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun paid $6.2 million for a banana — sold by Sotheby's as conceptual art — and then ate it last Friday.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

Whether you agree with the pardon or not, the media double standard continues.
Are you kidding me with this shit, @washingtonpost.com?

Top of the website headline, multiple stories, an editorial board piece and SIX goddamn columnists all had to weigh in about this?
