A parent is fighting me on his son’s essay being AI because he claims i think his son can’t write well. I want to scream that I will take a voice-filled, earnest essay over contrived AI slop any day.

In my 40's in California. I've heard it, but I don't think I've used it much myself.

And where are they taking the women? I have only heard stories about the end destinations of men.

It’s the worst when you start a book club and this happens. You really want to read this cool book with your pals… then your brain nopes out and you either force it and work to tamp down resentment or you feel like you are letting people down.

The “Strong Female Character” is similar. So many give her a big sword or good punch, or worse, write her identically to a “Strong Hero” with boobs (which works half the time because they trip into writing a PERSON making interesting choices while thinking it is the violence that intrigues).

Also, does the magic of your world allow any mortal in the house, even those who does not live there to grant entry? Must there be a verbal component to the consent?
