Sifting through the results can be a little intimidating, but I do feel very fortunate to live in a time with YouTube! & it brings a sense of pride when I figure it out. I’ve also taken a couple basics classes through the years,

newer sewist here! Just want to say I appreciate your perspective & it helps to hear. My first garment project was an indie pattern that had some accompanying technique videos if you needed them. As I’m starting my first standard pattern I find myself having to google certain terms or techniques.
