I love him so much. He really is one of the most humane, real, and funny people I’ve ever seen. I can spend hours watching highlights of his show. He’s so humane that he makes every guest on his show feel like an old friend from high school, like everyday people.

Sure, I see where in the next post he has a graph demonstrating what he said, but that first graph did not reflect the headline, which is what I was reacting to. I don’t know enough about the topic to comment on the actual stats.

But that graph doesn’t represent lost jobs, it represents jobs moving out of California. And it’s a percentage of total jobs, so it also represents a growing number of tech jobs overall around the US. Without more data about the numbers, that graph seems to not make point people think it does.

I second this suggestion, particularly if he’s sliding into the generalist camp. It’s only $15 for Pico-8, so you could probably add on a good book as well, maybe check to see if there’s a Boss Fight book about a favorite game or genre of his, or if you want something flashier, a Bitmap Books.

It’s not exactly the same, but there’s a YouTuber I like that does “Gen Z producer reacts to” videos where he listens to an entire classic album (and the react video doesn’t have any cuts). Lots of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s stuff. All excellent. It has gotten me back into just listening to albums.
