bs - he was pressured by businesses to reduce those tariffs, so he is, but not by enough to help consumers, and inflation is rising to offset any gains to tariff decreases due to his economy failing: inflation is rising, unemployment is rising, personal discretionary spending is down, etc.

More than that - that, plus, as people rebel, or turn to crime, Trump will use it as an excuse to declare martial law - it's why he's normalizing moving troops into cities, why ICE is actively causing problems and starting riots - he needs the excuse to make it legal, or needs people to not care.
