Washer has the optical interface (PC) described in the talk, dryer seems to be too new and will need something else.

(The other half of the talk deals with BSH devices of which we have dishwasher/micro and oven all Bosch so there will be plenty of fun ahead!)

Hey that's my luggage key combination!

Great talk! There's a Miele dishwasher and dryer in my house that will be liberated soon :D

Preorders for the new #jolla phone (not Android, not iOS) seem to do just fine.

Not using US software is European self-defense.

TIL that the president of Signal believes that people who run Mastodon and/or Matrix servers do so "in most cases" on hyperscaler* infrastructure.

This is my Mastodon server. And its UPS. And its networked KVM for when things get really hairy.

It's also my […]

Doug Little (dml) har just released a working build of "Minecraft"* for the 1992 Atari Falcon computer. You'll need 14MB RAM and an FPU, but if you have those you can run it on the real hardware from back in the day!

Image from the user DrTypo who already has […]

@Setok ... but I need the government to make sure I don't spread the butter on the left on my sandwiches and drink the milk to the right!

I think I'm shooting for something along these lines. Apologize for the crappy AI - but I'm _that_ bad at drawing myself. I don't mean in any way that this is good looking enough - an actual artist would have to step in for that ;)

I run Asahi Linux on my mac and I'd really like a vinyl sticker to indicate that - less people think I'm ok with (todays) Apple.

There are two variants on Etsy that are _almost_ there, but I think the aestethics are slightly off.

Does anyone know of something better?

I've previously run all local "AI" experiments using the Nvidia A2000 that came with my workstation. Today I upgraded to an Nvidia 5060 Ti, mostly to get from 12GB VRAM to 16, for gpt-oss 20b.

The difference is indeed immense, it's now "realtime" compared to […]

Atari Dash - our Geometry Dash clone for the 40 year old Atari ST system - won 1st price in the #sommarhack 2025 "Wild" competition.

The purpose of creating this game was to show how, with some modern discoveries regarding pecularities in the ST hardware, Atari […]

Help fund mikro who's currently out-of-pocket having sponsored sending off the Atari Falcon 030 custom ICs for decapping/delayering/die-shots.

All results will be published openly so I hope the #atari retro collective can come together footing the bill.

Hackers in Rome seem to be in a hurry to cross the streets.

Also, there's way more stuff behind this simple "I want to cross" button than I expected.
