If you’re boycotting today, join our boycott of Target indefinitely.

Since Target announced they would be eliminating DEI, foot traffic at their stores have decreased 10%.

Join us in the fight.

Keep your words. Show me the fruit.
I used to be enamored with politicians who openly used Christian faith language in interviews and speeches.

I’m now far more enamored when politicians openly treat others with Christian kindness.

Essential for our right now.
We are not powerless, our power is in our purchase and labor.

First, we’re boycotting Target and continuing to organize.

Then, we will continue rolling boycotts and strikes, flexing our economic muscle.

We have power.

Boycotting the corporations bent on taking advantage of us means we have to fight our desire for convenience. Be proactive, research, make the drive to local shops. Stop giving them your money.

Thanks @ninaturner.bsky.social . Here is another list of organizations intentionally rolling back their programs:

Target too? Start spending your dollars wisely friends. They are not interested in serving you. Don’t for a moment think that your personal boycott doesn’t matter. Now is the time.

Altadena, population nearly 42,000, is the town where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. visited. Where sci-fi author Octavia E. Butler is buried alongside abolitionists. Where a park is named after Charles White, a local artist whose work portrayed Black history.

Against all odds, Black residents built something remarkable in Altadena. Then the fire came
The Altadena fire wiped out much of a historic black enclave in this picturesque town in the San Gabriel Valley.

Definitely. I can see the end of MLK day and black history month in the next year.
Y’all tell me if I’m completely off base and wrong about a suspicion I have: I believe at least part of the reason Trump wants to release the government files on JFK and MLK is because he wants to publicly embarrass those men.

While Republicans are trying to change to Constitution to allow Trump to serve a third term, Democrats met today to talk about social media strategy and tuna melts.

Not a joke.

Democrats need to clean house. This is not a party serious about serving us.

@richvillodas.bsky.social thanks for not shying away from calling out this behavior.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven.

There’s still time. Maybe you didn’t accomplish all that you wanted to this year. Maybe shame and regret are telling you that’s it too late, but it’s not. If you got up this morning with breath in your lungs then my friends, there is still time.
