Quintagenarian human, with a fondness for mountains, roleplaying games, literature, movies, sound engineering, running, gardening, and cooking in no particular order of preference.
Generally I run the session without some characters just to maintain some momentum. This decision is especially difficult with monthly rather than weekly or bi-weekly sessions.

Cheers Neil. I always enjoy these write ups and the chance to vicariously enjoy some of your experiences from gaming weekends. Missed playing or running at Grogmeetish this time around as I was scheduled to work throughout. The Rick Meints nostalgia department interview was a lot of fun.

I think the first three Lone Wolf were what got me totally on board with the possibilities of role-playing. The cohesion of text and illustration are always tightest with a single illustrator.

Congratulations! I look forward to seeing it in published form.

I just had to say thanks for Black Phone 2, thoroughly enjoyed seeing it on a Tuesday night in a chilly deserted Utah theater, on a heated reclining seat with a medium size bucket of popcorn. The warmth of the seat didn’t quite keep the chills of the film at bay but it sure enhanced the experience.

Surely we’ve reached his Marie Antoinette moment. Où sont les guillotines d'antan?

A VHS screening of this in sixth form film club was a revelation. The Philip Glass score is just mesmerizing. The other really memorable works from the club were Peter Greenaway films with their Michael Nyman scores. Would love to see any of these on 35mm.

I’ll miss the book club group and discussion again as I am in the US for work. I hope to be back for What a Carve Up.

Are you shilling for GURPS again Pat? Can you define this robustness for me.

Thanks, I gave up the deletion when a password was refused last time. Worth going through the final hurdle to be rid of more spam introductions which could alter my career.

What’s wrong with WFRP?

How does running the campaign compare to playing it? I am still working on my Perec , Life a User’s Manual version of the MacAllister building for the parallel universe Paris version of the campaign to celebrate the release of French edition Delta Green.

Yeah, I don’t think I would touch a beverage called Ethics Gradient or No More Mr Nice Guy.

Missing the Dark Future with endless extensions on my Malaysian chocolate factory job.

Don’t worry I haven’t been around much either as work keeps dragging me to odd production facilities at the ends of the earth. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to catch up soon.

I would love to give it a shot. I might even have to read some of the books first.

Wrong species I know, but I expect it was the line culled from the script for delivery by the conquistador Toads in the battle versus Aztec Chameleons in Jodorowsky’s Holy Mountain. I expect the frogs were too rebellious to direct.

It is spoken by Mark Antony in Act 3, Scene 1, line 273 of William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar: "Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war.”

Are you running Impossible Landscapes again? Is this a fond tribute album?

You could wear a gas mask and full body armour under that thing.

Good for Bud! He was one of the most inspiring sources for inspiration when it came to all things Runequest. I still can’t hear his favourite Runequest god Arkat in any other accent.

I have the best memories of a cross channel voyage on a stormy channel aboard one of these with my mum. It was like the most extreme film audience at the front windows. Seasick passengers all throwing up as we coasted at wave after wave at ever more extreme angles.
