The United States didn't originate rounding up minorities who've been stereotyped & villainized in propaganda for the greater population, and then, without legal hearings, transporting them to another country, where they can be mistreated (or worse) away from the prying eyes of the press or public.

I keep seeing folk support the layoff of recent hires cuz they’re in the probationary period. People say “see it’s so bloated!” These are not always just recent hires being laid off, if you’ve changed positions recently, you’re in probation period.
