Pity Paddy Kielty didn’t ask a few personal / general questions. You know the kind of soft ball ones the media threw to Heather. I’m sure the audience would have appreciated hearing how she juggles new motherhood with the Dáil. But still an excellent interview by Holly Cairns.

Jenny was out canvassing with our Dublin North West for Connolly group, in the rain, yesterday. Encouraging young people to actually get out to vote.

This is a great thread from @robertbohan.bsky.social
I am disappointed about how quite a few ppl have bought into the smears that Fine Gael, & its client media, have made about Catherine Connolly. They’d rather believe them than investigate for themselves. Connolly was 1 of just 2 TDS who fought for Ppl with Disabilities in the Care Ref

Important thread that *every* Irish environmentalist should read before voting in the presidential election.

In short: Humphreys was just as disastrous for the environment as she was on social policy.
Let's explore the Green credentials of Heather Humphreys - The woman former GP member Brian Leddin thinks should be president.
She advocated for an increased burn period during her time as Minister for Heritage, as well as prolonging the period during which hedgerows could be cut. #Spéirgorm 1/n

It doesn’t get more on the nose that the landlord paying you back 16 years late for the rent he stole with no penalty or interest or even a few bob to compensate you for the trouble and stress. Jim Gavin is a Fianna Fáil man to his core, I can see why Micheál Martin picked him.
No interest and no inflation accounted for with €3,300 owed from 2009.

Average classy landlord.
Jim Gavin has paid back the €3,300 he owed to a former tenant of the apartment he owned - money which has ended Gavin's presidential campaign.

The tenant received the money owed since 2009 this afternoon. http://jrnl.ie/6841325

Back in 1992, Roisin Shortall was a newly-minted TD when, minutes after the declaration, she kindly granted me (a rookie reporter) her first interview. Dozens of ivs later, lovely to meet back in the RDS as the Social Democrats co-leader bows out after a 3 decade political career.
