I found both my favourite seed-buying sites down, was instantly suspicious that my husband had found some underhand way of stopping my mad seed-purchasing frenzies.

That’s no good, I hope the antibiotics provide the leg up you need.

Also, so cool - will be a big advantage for your tender crops.

My vege garden is made with treated retaining timber lined with porous landscape fabric to let water get through. I found this though, maybe the trick would be trying to work out what the timber is treated with before using it?

Unitary councils are already a thing (we have 6), so I am anticipating news on a plan about local consolidation rather than centralisation. We already have a model that imo has already shown it can work. Maybe Aucklanders disagree on that though!

Yeah I would definitely follow up now, if you have some way of contacting them.

Lol our 14yo is also sulking upstairs atm, coincidence? I think not. 14 eh? In this case I was insufficiently gracious when he returned home with the dog who refused to walk because he’d left it so late that it got too hot for her, after two hours of dragging his feet about getting out the door.

I’m so sorry. So hard when it’s abrupt and unexpected. It makes you reel.

Tomatoes and courgettes planted. More than we have any hope of eating, loving the anticipation of being RICH with tomatoes.

Felt like this the day I learned to spell “muesli”. At around age 50.

I should qualify this, by saying that I’m a straight cis woman - and the posts are majority from the same. But those posts I’ve seen from people in same-sex relationships have been warmly responded to and they do aim for gender inclusive language.

There is a huge Australian FB group which might be more bearable. It’s inclusive of gay/lesbian, gender diverse, intersex members. It’s very firmly moderated and woo gets rebutted quickly. Moderated to the point of abruptness at times! Can find by searching “Menopause & Peri-menopause Australia”

Well that explains a fuck-tonne.
