This patch of vegetable garden pleases me every time I walk by - carrots, tomatoes, thyme, parsley, sweet peas, alyssum, lobelia. Ok ok, it’s really more of a flower garden.

I have the same rose and embarrassed to say that until I read your post I’d never stopped to smell it. In my defence it requires a scramble upwards to reach it.

Gardening is highs and lows, steps forward and steps back, and trialling, experimenting and reworking what didn’t work the first time around. This year I am ridiculously pleased with my mini cucumber fence. Four years to get an approach that has finally worked out in line with my hopes. 🌱🇬🇸
