Relative of a family friend got swept up by ICE. The reason? He had a disagreement with his manager. Manager called ICE. ICE picked him up in front of the entire undocumented staff, as a fucking warning.

OMG. I was wondering that as the tariff numbers made no sense, but this is even dumber than I thought. I mean, this is "fail your econ 101 class and have to go meet with the professor" bad.

Hell yes, Democratic governors Jared Polis of Colorado and J.B. Pritzker of Illinois will co-chair a newly formed coalition to protect democracy on the state level during the fascist MAGA regime’s tyranny.
