I loved R for spatial analytics. I was okay with python, but it drove me mad with how it enforced formatting. lol

I saw that when I was a kid sometime in the early 80s and recall being fascinated by it. I need to watch it again with my adult brain. lol

Oh yeah! It is pretty intense. A lot of my peers moved into monitoring or into other fields. I ran into a couple who became spatial analysts like me. I had one unfortunate incident lifting a bag of soil when I was 22 which I think is the source of my current pain. I heard a crunch in my lower back.

I was running out of ideas fast and had to do a bunch of reading, so I put it to rest. I drew one more years later when I was thinking of resurrecting it, but I dropped it again. I had been doodling this little red head girl named Dani who would eventually become Lulu's friend.

The comics in the previous post were drawn while in grad school and based on my experience working in archaeology prior to becoming a geographer. These things actually happened with some name and setting changes. I had drawn one a week for about 12 weeks before my studies became more intense.
