It really is. We weren’t expecting anything like this at all. It blew us away to see it.

Thank you. Your white one looks so beautiful being that pure of a color.

Thank you.

Thank you. We’re not doing ok right now but we’re trying. We have to look out for Thumper now who somehow knew she was dying before we did.

He was ok at first because I think he understood. But now he’s missing her and it’s affecting his health.

It helps hearing from so many people about her.

We’ll never forget you, Princess. Our little girl. My little girl.

She was a rabbit that needed love unconditionally and he’s a rabbit who loves giving love. It truly was love at first sight with her, and they were inseparable.

Our house is going to be different now, and I’m not sure how we’ll do with just the three of us now.

It was a constant balance to stay on top of her medical issues once the cancer was found, but it means a lot to hear from people that because of Princess’s story, other rabbits have had their quality of life extended.

Her and Thumper’s love was legendary.

Thank you to her regular vet team at Winrose as well as the teams at the University of Saskatoon and the University of Wisconsin. Without the help of all of them we wouldn’t have had the quality time that we did with Princess.

I’ll miss taking her out on car rides at Christmas to see the lights that she loved and then watching her lie down under our Christmas tree to look at them there too. I could talk for hours about everything I’ll miss, but mostly I’ll just miss her being a little goofball every day.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
I’ll miss her being tough and independent but then letting her guard down and asking to be picked up when she was scared. I’ll miss seeing her get blanket rides around the house.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
One of the best decisions we’ve ever made was giving them free rein of our house because their personalities were able to shine. I’ll miss her sneaking up and laying down near me as we watch TV Sunday mornings.

Her thumps were legendary as she let us know when we weren’t living up to her standards of servitude.

Princess had the funniest attitude I’d never thought was possible in a rabbit. She was moody but also extremely loving.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
She would hop around the house as she felt, exploring areas Thumper found to scary (like going behind the kitchen island) and not only would she come out for supper, she would sit and wait for it and let you know if you were late.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
After a while though, she started to open up. She would slowly come down the hallway and cautiously enter the room, only to eat a bit and head back to “safety.” As time went on she became the full personality we came to know her as.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
That’s also what makes this so hard now.

With Princess essentially being a rescue, it took years for her to come out of her shell. She used to hide away across the house under the bed, and it would take a group effort for the three of us to get her to come out to eat or spend time with us.

Once you know their individual “language” you can communicate with them almost like little people. The reason rabbit owners get so attached to their pets is because the more you bond with your bunny’s personality, the more you get out of the experience of living with them.

A slight tilt of the head or their eyes widening a little when see something. The way they’ll sit in a certain spot and stare at you until you figure out what that spot means to them. When you do figure it out they’ll always repeat that action to let you know what they’re thinking.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Rabbits aren’t like other pets. They can’t bark or wag their tails to let you easily know what they’re thinking. They’re quite intelligent but you have to get to know them enough to understand what the slightest change in body language means.

Shortly after arriving her breathing changed and quickly became more and more laboured. We were told it was heart failure. Her vet did everything they could but she passed in Sabrina’s arms a few minutes later.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Unfortunately the cancer wasn’t the only health issue she had. She’s also had a heart murmur her whole life that’s slowly worsened. Wednesday night we had noticed her breathing was a bit different and we made an appointment to bring her to her vet.

Some of you know of our trip to Saskatoon and then our regular trips to Wisconsin with Thumper and Princess to see specialists for her. Because of a treatment plan that was created for Princess, we were able to get almost two extra years with her.
July 27, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Good to know they didn’t treat you any differently for asking the question.

It was though.

People started to comment on it and then Baldoni’s lawyer made his statement about it.

Since then people have found more evidence that it was based on him to mock and bully him.

When given the chance to deny it, Reynolds says it’s legal to parody him with it, so they were right.
