She was so sweet and loved Christmas trees so much. This captured her perfectly.

Thursday night we said goodbye to our little girl, Princess.

She had just finished her latest round of treatments for her thymoma, a cancer that grows in the chest and slowly compresses the heart and lungs. It’s inoperable in rabbits and usually quickly fatal.

Princess was a rescue that’s always skittish around people. Always on the defensive.

But sometimes she feels so comfortable and safe around Thumper that she’ll sleep on her side, even near us.

Mom’s busy making friendship bracelets for her Eras Tour trip coming up, but she took a minute to make a little rabbit sized one for Princess.

How photogenic is this little bunny?

She’s had serious health issues (especially with her back legs) for a couple of years that we’ve been working to manage, so when we couldn’t find Princess it was great to see she had jumped up into our bed and was making herself comfy in the blankets. 🙂

First time in a couple years she’s done this.

Next month we’re taking our two rabbits to see the Christmas lights again!

Thumper doesn’t care for it, but Princess has always been enthralled by Christmas lights. Lol. We weren’t sure she’d be with us for last year’s so every year is a big deal now!
