While it's worth checking out by itself, he also does talk about John W. Campbell. I also read a bit about him recently too in @tannerfboyle.bsky.social's (also recommended) The Fortean Influence on Science Fiction, albeit in the context of Charles Fort's influence on him. Both Bongiorno and Boyle
