Great article detailing how Penn State's budgetary decisions could impact its competitiveness with other higher ed. institutions. Certainly an argument to be made for reallocating funds from engineering to other departments, but holistically, in my opinion, reveals structural problems within PSU.

The greater the number of citizens gathering at these events, the louder the condemnation of DOGE’s wanton & indefensible slash & burn destruction is highlighted. Lives are at stake. Mid-terms are coming. We are NOT a Kingdom, NOT a dictatorship. We are a Republic by the people and FOR the people.

I'm not up on all the movies nominated for an Oscar this year, but this is a really well written critique of Anora. I always enjoy seeing how class politics bleed into film, and unfortunately it seems this movie falls into the 'meh' category of addressing these issues

I'm not up on all the movies nominated for an Oscar this year, but this is a really well written critique of Anora. I always enjoy seeing how class politics bleed into film, and unfortunately it seems this movie falls into the 'meh' category of addressing these issues
