Tony says he's seen wrestling companies where they pay for the songs the night of but not for replays. Tony says not him, he's happy to pay in perpetuity so that decades from now those songs will stay in the shows in archives.

Tony says he was working hard a year ago and again states he thinks that they're in a better place this year. Tony says it takes a special fan to be into wrestling, a sport with no off season, mentioning how when he was young he even missed some shows at different periods

Tony asked about burn out. Tony says no, he's never missed a show, hasn't taken a break from wrestling in a long long time, he loves it. Tony says every day he is so grateful to be in the chair, and for the most part, fans seem to want him in the chair.

Tony views Saturdays and Sundays as different. Says on Saturdays he goes to MMA and boxing shows where the main starts at 1am and the shows are hours longer with much longer gaps between bouts.

Tony says CMLL and New Japan are interested in National Title defenses. Notes that when it's defended at Final Battle, that'll be the first AEW title defense ever in ROH. Says you couldn't ask for a better first champ than Ricochet.

Tony doesn't have all the data yet but from advance buys thinks this'll be their biggest PPV yet in the HBO Max era. (I think that's what he meant, a little Trev interpretation of comments here. He says it did well, that's as much as I can say for sure.)

Tony thinks this has been their most consistent year, they're batting a thousand. Thinks the PPVs were just as good last year, but the TV has been more consistent this year.

Tony last year felt embattled during this period and this year he feels the opposite. He felt like Full Gear last year was the beginning of a big turn around for them. Always interesting to hear Tony admit to lulls once he's at a safe distance from them
