NEW: The City of Cranbrook's New Spaces Fund application was successful; the province has approved $13.5M towards a new daycare that will be located beside Western Financial Place where the exercise equipment and gazebo are currently located.

Grateful for the invite to a prescribed burn in the Bull River area near Cranbrook this afternoon, which was a part of the Kootenay ʔa·kinq̓uku TREX (training exchange).
Really interesting to see the real-time operation of a prescribed burn and watching how that training was put into practice.
