I am the creator of cubeboot IPL for GameCube and other fun GC Software mods... In addition I am working on a bunch of GC Hardware mods with my friend @chrispville.bsky.social

Sometimes I do GBA hacking as well!
I just opened Twitter again for the first time in like a year and it is so bad that it is funny...

You can tell it was once a well designed product but now it has a bunch of tech bro slop

In V for Vendetta, when V plays his speech on the emergency TV broadcast he uses a mini-dvd!! The same size as the kind used in the GameCube!

I just got off the phone with @bobabria.bsky.social and she informed me that the bean having butt cheeks was my idea. This was news to me, but also I am very proud to have been responsible for such a ground-breaking feature.

I'm really excited for the Pixel 10a to come out in Spring...

Going to ultrasonic for fingerprints is a great QoL change. No camera island.

Also it is great to have AVF supported in the stock rom!

Did you know that one of the best ways to saturate a link when doing a backup over network is plain old HTTP?

It is pretty low overhead and you can really max out your speed by using a parallel download program like aria2c

(remember to fsfreeze though!)

“The New York Times collaborated with a white nationalist eugenicist hacker and agreed to keep his identity a secret to publish a Zohran Mamdani hit piece” is a way bigger story than “18 year old Zohran Mamdani ticked ‘African American’ on his Columbia application because he was a citizen of Uganda”

Glasgow is such a great tool for interacting with hardware. Been using it a lot, and it’s both easy and fun to build custom applets for it.
are you a platform/embedded developer?
do you need to interact with hardware in a semi-custom manner?
would you like to suffer a lot less doing it?

if so, #GlasgowInterfaceExplorer might be for you. the code below is all you need to build a custom testbench:

i've upgraded the Ethernet controller applet for #GlasgowInterfaceExplorer

this is the main loop of the applet working in bridge mode (acting as a network card for your PC). no weird optimizations, no hacks, just a loop that forwards packets in normal boring Python
