Another interesting pair in the catalogue—possibly ideal for future dust studies.
SN 2017ghw was detected in the Spiral, suggesting a redshift similar to the central galaxy. But it's unclear if they're interacting; a spectroscopic measurement is needed to confirm.

I'm nearly finished with my new catalogue! It's definitely not perfect but it is a step in the right direction. I look forward to sharing the results in the next few months.

I'm nearly finished with my new catalogue! It's definitely not perfect but it is a step in the right direction. I look forward to sharing the results in the next few months.

It finally was clear since the past month of being cloudy. It was a birthday miracle.
This is the same object as last time (NGC 7000) but with all three filters (Ha, OIII, and SII) to create a false color SHO image.
This is about 2 and half hours total!

There was a narrow window last night to test out my new Mono camera again. I tried the 6.5nm 1.25'' HA filter this time and the results are great.
The images stacked here are contaminated by some high clouds, so it could be better. I'm happy with it.

There was a narrow window last night to test out my new Mono camera again. I tried the 6.5nm 1.25'' HA filter this time and the results are great.
