Tomorrow I’m hitting up the Yemeni coffee place across the street from my hotel, and getting some pizza (Louie’s in Jackson Heights). Overall A+++ trip.

I also went to the Met where I saw much cool art for very little money (NY state residents get in for a donation of any amount), saw some tourist-y stuff, recorded my two demos, and I’ve walked 18k steps.

I signed up for a program two years ago that included coaching and the demos, and tomorrow I will be in a real recording studio doing my best to sound like I know what I’m about. What a wild weird thing.

Relatable - layoff trauma is real. Although I put a meeting on my boss’s calendar with no explanation (didn’t think it was necessary in context) and she thought I was giving my notice, so it can go both ways I guess
