History always has a lesson.

Something that I think we can all agree on is that the current generation of Democratic leadership is simply not optimized for the Attention Age. Not really their fault! And honestly, they may be better people for it, but it's a pretty pressing political problem.

I was told today at my job at the university where I work that we can no longer use the word “diverse” in any of our messaging. The website and all communication has been wiped of any reference to DEI and the words diversity, equity, inclusion. We can use “belong” but not “belonging”.

Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mourn and remember the six million Jews and countless others murdered in the Holocaust.

May we unite to fight antisemitism, hatred, and intolerance, ensuring such atrocities are never repeated.

I’m attending a 1-day publishing conference. Feeling so enriched by the experience. People I have met and the topics that include research publishing strategies, quality content, and brand-building by academics give me the warm and fuzzies 😊

I didn’t join this new platform just to do the same type of social engagement. But frankly, I don’t feel like saying much right now. So, I’m going to read, watch, and learn from others until I see where I may be able to add something of value.

Can someone explain why TikTok is a bigger national security concern than a social media platform run by a South African technofeudal oligarch actively interfering in our elections and sabotaging our national interests here and abroad?
