🚨 I just signed a discharge petition to force a vote on extending the healthcare tax credits.

Florida and Miami-Dade are ground zero for the nation’s healthcare crisis. If Congress refuses to act, people will lose coverage and die!

The fight to save healthcare must continue!

Since I came to Congress, @pelosi.house.gov has been a relentless force for the voiceless and a champion for all Americans.

Her leadership changed lives and moved our nation forward.

I’ll miss fighting alongside her, and I’m forever grateful for her service to this nation.

The House of Representatives has been on a vacation for weeks while real people suffer.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Republicans need to come back to the negotiating table to work with Democrats to reopen government, protect food assistance, and lower healthcare costs.
The current government shutdown is now officially the longest in U.S. history, surpassing the 35-day shutdown of President Trump’s first term. The impact of the shutdown, having lasted 35 full days, has already been felt across the country. nyti.ms/3Xaygvt

Letting people starve is a SICK, TWISTED bargaining chip.

SNAP should not be held hostage and it doesn’t have to be this way.

Funds are available, but the administration is defying a court order by halting SNAP. It’s time to restart SNAP benefits NOW!

With open enrollment underway, this is the cheapest healthcare option for a family of four with two children making $130K a year in Miami-Dade County.

These prices are INSANE. So many people are going to lose healthcare and DIE!

Congress must act to address this crisis NOW!
November 3, 2025 at 3:44 PM
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT MIAMI-DADE COUNTY HAS THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN FLORIDA WHO RELY ON SNAP BENEFITS?

AND WE MUST DO ALL THAT WE CAN TO ADDRESS THAT NEED!

🚨 In case you forgot: Republicans passed the “Big, Ugly Law” in July to gut SNAP.

The changes below take effect this year and more cuts are coming.

Now, they’ve chosen to stop SNAP this November. It’s unacceptable, and we must fight back.

Republicans are CHOOSING to deny SNAP benefits even though funds exist to keep families fed.

They’re deliberately making this shutdown painful for Americans.

I urged the administration to continue SNAP benefits.

WE MUST PROTECT FOOD ASSISTANCE AND NOT PLAY POLITICS WITH IT.

What is the price to pay for the healthcare of a human being?

People are going to lose healthcare and die if we don’t protect the healthcare tax credits.

And Miami-Dade County is the epicenter of this healthcare crisis.

Congress must act now. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/25/u...

Have your healthcare premiums gone up for 2026?

I’m fighting to lower costs, but Republicans are letting the healthcare tax credits expire—driving up prices across South Florida.

Share your story to help me fight for you. ⬇️

Healthcare Crisis
My top priority in Congress is lowering your cost of living and making life more affordable for you and your family. If the President and Republicans continue to stonewall, insurance premiums will double because of expiring health care tax credits. The tax credits are often the only thing that allow millions of Americans to afford a doctor's visit, care after an accident, or prescriptions for their kids.

NO OTHER PLACE IN THE NATION WILL BE HIT HARDER BY THE EXPIRATION OF HEALTHCARE TAX CREDITS THAN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.

PEOPLE ARE GOING TO LOSE THEIR HEALTHCARE AND DIE.

WE MUST EXTEND THESE TAX CREDITS NOW!

Miami-Dade is the epicenter of America’s healthcare crisis.

More people here rely on the Affordable Care Act than anywhere else in the country — and without extending the healthcare tax credits set to expire, hundreds of thousands will lose coverage and PEOPLE WILL DIE!

Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for. All the living hostages have finally made it home after unimaginable suffering.

They’re no longer in the cruel hands of Hamas and I’m so grateful!

May this be the start of lasting peace and security for both Israel and Palestine.🎗️

THE HEALTH CARE CRISIS IS HERE!

With Congress failing to renew the health care tax credits, premiums will skyrocket, and people will lose coverage.

Notices are going out now, and every day of delay means more people go uninsured. Congress must act now!

Miami-Dade has the most to lose if Congress fails to extend the expiring health care tax credits. South Florida has 4 of the TOP 5 DISTRICTS NATIONWIDE in Affordable Care Act enrollment.

If Congress doesn’t act, people lose coverage. We must renew these tax credits NOW!

Detecting breast cancer early is possible with routine screening. So make sure to set a reminder to schedule your annual mammogram.
