Freelance writer covering geeky stuff for money. Perpetually pretending to work. Frequently hilarious and adorable. Weird rat (and human) dad.
It is a complete thing, as far as I know. It is a specific arc from the manga made into a movie rather than four episodes of an upcoming series.

Think of it as Mugen Train when it was first released.

I have a piece coming out on Monday that basically says the same thing. I like that I am discussing this game like it is a show. Every week I catch up with a buddy who is playing it as well. The water cooler talk is good, actually.

Came here to mention this. That movie is an absolute ride but it understood the assignment better than anything else in the genre.

That is a baffling policy and tells me that they aren't worth listening to. My contempt for them grows with each passing moment. Soon I will reach a contempt singularity and forget they exist, which is how I wish to spend the rest of my days.

You can review bad games or games not your thing with respect and consideration. It is actually a big part of the job.

Gods, I tire of this sort of thing.

I have reviewed a lot of bad games. A lot of games that were good but Not For Me. A lot of games that people loved and I just didn't see the appeal.

The fact that a writer didn't attribute their name to this piece tells me that it isn't an honest review.

The Guards books are my favorite series in Discworld but Going Postal is easily my favorite single book.

As you say, every page has a cracker on it. Absolutely perfect book.

I do, however, sometimes Aslan post. Which is when someone claims I do not know about a thing that I have built a career on.

I had someone say I was a casual anime fan and I was like "I hail from a time when you could not be 'casual'. To do so would be to never see the light of anime at all."

There is simply no reason to post with Sephiroth energy. If you find yourself doing so, you shoukd find the nearest bit of grass and touch for as long and as hard as you can until the urge passes.

It is never a good thing to do.
