Welcome to #TrekBookClub (hosted by @petertrek1.bsky.social & created by @trekkierob.bsky.social). We have read & discussed #StarTrek books since 2017, formerly on X/Twitter, now on Bluesky. Trek Book Club podcast is a member of @bqnpodcasts.bsky.social.
Thank you for the kind words of support and for participating in the book discussions. Both are much appreciated!

Very nice! It's interesting that this trilogy was originally written in a language other than English and then translated into English. I think this was the first set of Trek books which were developed in that way.

Thank you! When I was originally planning the discussion, I thought it would only be a 1-day discussion. When I started to draft the questions, I realized there was enough material for a 2nd day. Compressing it to 1 day would have required me to delete some good questions. 😀

Yes, while I was reading that book, its tone and style reminded me of some of the DS9's Ferengi episodes.

Thanks for letting me know about the typo. The correct dates are December 6 and 7.

You know, around the start of the pandemic, I watched "Spock's Brain" for the first time in decades and I enjoyed it. While there were some odd scenes towards the end, overall, it wasn't as bad as its reputation.

I’m a big fan. The novella is almost a more natural length for stories that feel like tv episodes than the full-length novels. I’m about twenty novellas in so far. Eventually I might work through the whole series. #TrekBookClub
